BBEDC supports numerous internships in Bristol Bay, Alaska and Washington. BBEDC has developed excellent partnerships with ADF&G, US Wildlife, Dillingham Harbor, Bristol Bay Borough, Icicle Seafoods, American Seafoods, and Westward Seafoods to name a few.

The first-rate work experience gives a person with little work and/or life experience an educational opportunity in work ethics, employer expectations and simply living on their own. The internships also give the more experienced person an opportunity to explore a career prior to committing the huge investment that vocational training or Higher education require.

Many BBEDC interns go on to regular full time or seasonal employment with the partner organization. Many of the interns working in seasonal employment spend the off season in college working towards full time positions in the same field.
