Salmon Camp

Salmon camp students are immersed in hands-on true-to-life scientific inquiries in ichthyology (fish science), entomology (study of insects), limnology (study of fresh water), and environmental science.  Days are spent collecting data in the field while evenings are spent analyzing data.

Three separate camps are offered to 6th/7th graders, 8th/9th graders, and 10th/11th graders.  Camps are based out of Aleknagik Alaska with day trips to Dillingham and around Aleknagik Lake.  Salmon camp is typically held the end of July/Early August.
